ASTOM at Holiday & SPA Expo 2026: How Stories Build Trust

From 12 to 14 February, members of ASTOM took part in Holiday & SPA Expo 2026, the largest international tourism exhibition in Bulgaria, bringing together hoteliers, destination representatives, tour operators and tourism professionals.

Different ASTOM members attended on different days of the expo, engaging in valuable conversations with industry representatives and exploring opportunities for future collaboration.

Presenting ASTOM and the Benefits for Our Partners

On 13 February, in the Holiday Classics Hall, ASTOM presented the topic:

“How travel bloggers help your brand or destination become more recognizable and build trust.”

The presentation was delivered by Victoria Georgieva, author of the travel blog mytrips2remember.com.

During the session, we focused on:

  • the power of personal storytelling in tourism
  • the importance of authentic, experience-based content
  • the long-term impact of blog articles
  • how travel bloggers contribute to the discoverability of hotels, destinations and travel services

The main message was clear: travel blogging is not a one-time communication effort. It is sustainable content that remains online and continues to reach travelers actively planning their trips.

Meaningful Conversations and Strong Interest

The presentation was followed by engaging discussions and questions from tourism professionals. Topics ranged from measuring results to selecting the right blogger for a specific destination or product.

We emphasized that successful collaboration between tourism businesses and travel bloggers is built on clear goals, trust, and understanding the long-term value of quality content.
